SUMMER TIME OUTDOOR YOGA
On the banks of the River Waveney, immersed in the sound of birdsong, with the gentle flowing water meandering by, the whispering and glistening of leaves above... we breathe under the trees and move lightly with the continuity of the river. The somatic-style classes are quiet and grounding, including Guided Meditation and breathwork (Pranayama), the meditative Earth Salute, mindful synchronized breath and movement, and a soft relaxation, melting into the sounds of nature. DATES & TIMES £7 Sundays 10-11am: 7 June - CANCELLED due to very wet ground. 26 July, 9 August Wednesdays 6.30-7.30pm: June: 10, 17 & 24 July: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 August: 12, 19, 26 September dates to follow. |

Being outdoors, the classes are weather dependent.
I keep my beady eye on the forecast, and message the Needham Yoga Group a few days before to confirm if the class is going ahead. Join the Wats-App group to be first to know. (Only I post on the group so you are not inundated with messages.) Updates will also be on this page. If you're not on Wats-App, send me a message so we can work out how best I can let you know. |

Valley House Farm, 143 High Road, Needham, IP20 9LG
Come into the gates and follow the signs for parking. From there, follow the Yoga signs to the location by the river. PLEASE NOTE: Arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts to give yourself time to park and walk to the river. It is with the kindness of Louise and Neil of Valley House Farm that we can enjoy this unique experience. Please respect their privacy, property and guests by not wandering off the path, and keeping noise down. THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW. Valley House Farm has a wonderful menagerie of springer spaniels, cats, goats, pigs, ducks, chickens and sheep. Most of the delightful animals are in enclosures, so please do not pet them, but by all means say hello if you pass. Bring: your yoga mat, water to drink, a light blanket, sunglasses, sunhat. At the river, we share the space with creatures that fly and crawl, flowers, grasses and trees that produce pollen and seeds. Please don't squish anything if possible, and keep to the paths. You are responsible for your own anti-allergy creams, tablets and sunscreen. Before taking part, I take a register and will need your emergency name and contact number. Now that the T's & C's are out the way, we are ready for bliss at the River. |
