Veg:
*
Beetroot - I grate beetroot into couscous, pasta salads etc - gives it all a rich colour, and use the leaves as I would spinach, or raw in a salad.
* RedChard - use the leaves as spinach or raw in salad, the stems raw or cooked with a crunch in any dish.
* Yellow Zuccini - sunshine on a plate!
* Round Courgette - why not?  It's such a fun veg.
* BlackBeauty Courgette - good old fashioned courgette to fry, sauté, make cake, grate..... the endless options that we are all so familiar with!
* Patty Pan - cute star shaped courgetty-squash type thing - cut in half and grill with some cheese and herbs - yum!
* Spring Onions - amazing sliced and sprinkled on top of any dish

Salad Leaves and Flowers: Chives, Parsley, Bronze Fennel, Red Salad Bowl Lettuce, Nasturtium, Calendula, Borage.

Don't be scared of adding edible flowers to salad or popped on top of a meal - the vibrancy will make you smile, and your gut flora will be ever so grateful for the variety of colours and tastes!

Coming Soon: Gem (Rolet) Squash - I grow this every year as a nod to my childhood - when they are ready I'll share pics and recipes.

 Kombucha & Kefir
Picture
Fabulous probiotics.

PLEASE do your research to make sure you can consume these safely.

KOMBUCHA
£1.20 / 100ml
I make my kombucha using organic Rooibos Green Tea and Raw Cane Sugar for the first ferment.
I then flavour it with whatever is in season, or whatever is yummy.
I'm happy to try to cater to your tastes if you pre-order.
IN STOCK NOW: Sold out!

Some of my favourite flavours:
Mango and Ginger / Pineapple, Mint & Ginger / Rhubarb and Ginger /
Beetroot, Turmeric & Ginger / Lemon & Ginger / Fennel & Black Cardamom...
the flavours are endless!

KEFIR
£1 / 100ml
Admittedly Kefir is not to everyone's taste!
It took me a while to get use to it, and now I love it.

I use Fen Farm Raw Milk as the base and  the magic grains do the rest.
.
My Kefir is smooth and creamy and will happily sit in the fridge for up to 2 months, as long as it's burped regularly.
Note: The longer you leave it, the stronger the flavour and potency!

PLEASE NOTE:
These are live fermented products. They must not come in contact with metal or direct sunlight.
They are naturally fizzy and therefore prone to erupting.
Store in the fridge, and ensure you burp the bottles regularly - like once a day!

Cut Flowers
Picture
I love making bunches of cut flowers which I grow in amongst the veg,
and adding in grasses and flowers from around our home.

If you'd like a bunch of seasonal flowers for a gift for someone (or a gift to yourself),
I'll pick them fresh on the day you need them,
and can deliver by arrangement.
Delivery cost depending on location.

They come wrapped in my home made recycled paper,
and if you need a card, check out my Shop for hand made cards.

a note on PACKAGING
Picture
I re-use various packaging, bottles and boxes,
so sometimes the packaging might not always look pretty, and will never be the same.
This helps keep costs down,
and doing what we can to help the environment in tiny small ways....

Don't worry, this does not compromise the quality of the produce!

None of this would be possible without the help of these three...
Zuki the Opal Snowflake Coconut Queen (Chobs)
Rooibos O'Malley Terry the Naartjie Cat (My Boy)
and.... John!
